A comforter (in American English), plus known as a doona in Australian English,[1] or a continental quilt (or comprehensibly quilt) or duvet in English, is a type of bedding made of two lengths of fabric or covering sewn together and filled in imitation of insulative materials for warmth, traditionally the length of or feathers, wool or cotton batting, silk, or polyester and new the length of interchange fibers. subsequently quilts, comforters are generally laid greater than a top bed sheet (and sometimes in addition to blankets).
