A comforter (in American English), next known as a doona in Australian English,[1] or a continental quilt (or comprehensibly quilt) or duvet in English, is a type of bedding made of two lengths of fabric or covering sewn together and filled subsequently insulative materials for warmth, traditionally the length of or feathers, wool or cotton batting, silk, or polyester and extra down oscillate fibers. when quilts, comforters are generally laid higher than a summit bed sheet (and sometimes afterward blankets). Comforters are usually used in the winter season once it is unquestionably cold, although a variety of alternative thicknesses means that they can be used in further seasons as well, past lighter examples being used in warmer weather.
